It was a hot sunny afternoon, at exactly half past 2. A day I will never forget, the scene keeps flashing back.
At Oshodi railway, the incident was so pathetic, many people could not stop talking about it, the news was all over, radio stations, Television stations, newspapers, social media and lots more. I was actually at the market trying to get some foodstuffs, although I was done when the incident happened so I witnessed it.
I was about to cross to the other side of the road, Suddenly I heard the sound of the train, I paused immediately although the sound was coming from somewhere far, yet I decided to stay put, someone started shouting that the train is drawing close, everyone started moving far away from the railway including myself.
Unfortunately, there was this young lady, a corper who was walking on the railway, the people were calling her but she could not hear because she had a pair of earpiece plugged on her ears. It was so sad that it got to a point that the force of the train held her and she could no longer move.
In fact, no one could drag her. Eventually, the train crushed on her, broke her legs and her hands. The lady was in a pull of blood, after the train left and the people ran to her aid, she was no longer breathing, they met her lifeless.
