Inter Miami To Build Extra Stands For Messi Ahead of Unveiling

Inter Miami, Lionel Messi’s new team, are constructing additional stands at the DRV PNK stadium in anticipation of his arrival.

Inter Miami’s DRV PNK stadium only holds 18,000 people, and with Lionel Messi due to spend the next couple of seasons with the MLS side, Inter Miami have decided to expand their arena.

The team is eager to make the most of the Argentine great’s presence by increasing the stadium’s capacity since they, very reasonably, feel they can fill it every week once he arrives. On July 21, Messi is scheduled to make his club debut.

The team will try to finish the enlarged stadium before Messi arrives in the MLS. The average attendance at Miami in 2022–23 is just below capacity, therefore expanding it makes total sense.
