Inter Miami Expand DRV PNK Stadium To Meet ‘Unprecedented Demand’ For Tickets To See Messi
In anticipation of the 2024 MLS season, Inter Miami has expanded DRV PNK Stadium due to the “unprecedented demand” for tickets to see Lionel Messi in action.
Summer of 2023 saw Messi, the World Cup winner, sign with the Florida-based team. Within weeks of his arrival in the US, he led them to a historic Leagues Cup victory, and he later won his third FIFA Best Award and eighth Ballon d’Or.

Entrance passes for fixtures involving Messi have become among the most sought-after in professional sport, with prices soaring due to limited availability. Inter Miami saw their season tickets for 2024 sell out back in November, just two weeks after the last campaign came to a close.
The Athletic notes that the Herons have raised capacity in three areas of their field in an effort to move more people through the turnstiles. With the extra seats being made available as single match tickets, it means 21,550 more fans can now enjoy seeing Messi live.
As part of their first overseas preseason tour, Inter Miami is now in Saudi Arabia. They are scheduled to play Al-Nassr on Thursday, who will not have Cristiano Ronaldo, and then they will travel to the Far East to play Vissel Kobe and a Hong Kong XI. On February 21, Tata Martino’s team will play Real Salt Lake at home in the 2024 MLS season opener.
