Ibrahimovic Defends Man Utd Owners Amid Controversies 

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a former striker at Manchester United, has questioned fans that criticise the Glazer family following their summer recruitment.

Following their successful summer signings, which saw over £150 million spent on Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund, and Mason Mount, the 42-year-old has questioned United supporters who dispute the amount of money the Glazers allocate to the club.

“I think now in Man Utd, I don’t know, there are some kind of demonstrations about the owners to sell it and that, but just a reminder, the owners are investing,” Ibrahimovic said on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

“It is not like they are not investing because they brought in many players for a high amount of money.

“So I think it’s a little bit wrong saying that they are not doing what the fans expect them to do, then I don’t know what the real reason is behind everything,” he continued.

The Glazers family had been considering selling the franchise earlier in the year, and both the British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the Qatari Sheikh Jassim were said to be interested in buying the club.

However, discussions have now halted, and fanbois are beginning to wonder if a deal will ever be reached.
