Ibadan Electric Gives Important Customer Information
The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) Plc, Ibadan Electric, has released an important information to electricity consuming customers.
The Public announcement titled List of band A feeders with Unmet Hours of supply 4 September, it states:
Dear Esteemed Customer
We sincerely apologise for our inability to deliver the estimated hours of supply on your feeder.
This was as a result of a TCM Load shedding, planned outage, an ibedc forced outage over current and earth faults and a disconnection due to non payment.
“Kindly note that the feeders mentioned have been restored. except Stadium 11kv which is still out of disconnection. We remain committed to supplying the estimated hours of supply”

The public service announcement went ahead to list the areas affected.
IBEDC Launches a new business hub
The Eagle also reports a recent development at the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) whereby last August it inaugurated a new business hub in Offa, headquarters of Offa local government area of Kwara.
The Ag. Managing Director of the Company, Engr. Francis Agoha led the management team of the Company to the commissioning .
Agoha in his remarks said It is not about expanding physical presence, but about deepening commitment to the communities.
He said the commissioning embodies IBEDC dedication to driving economic growth, enhancing service delivery, and bringing service to the people.
He said the business hub is strategically positioned to catalyse economic development in Offa and its environs by bringing operations closer to the people.
” We are not only increasing access to reliable electricity but also fostering an environment where the overall quality of lives of the residents is improved and business can flourish.
