I Will Increase Worker’s Salary, IGR, Make Ogun A Peaceful State ~Ajadi

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) gubernatorial candidate in Ogun State, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has promised increase in workers’ salary when elected.

He also promises to generally enhance the welfare of workers through a range of incentives already contained in his campaign manifesto.

Ajadi who made these promises on a radio programme in Abeokuta, the state capital, said there would be an increase in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) under his administration, using a model he had carefully developed.

Explaining that the administration priorities people welfare, he said an NNPP government in the state, would work towards generally alleviating the burden and suffering of the masses.

Comrade Oguntoyinbo therefore, urged the Ogun people, not to commit another blunder by reelecting the incumbent, but to show it the way out so life could be better for them.

“NNPP is out to rescue the state from political merchants whose goal is to milk the treasury dry. We can see it in the way the affairs of the state is run. Education is in coma, security of lives and properties can not be guaranteed, pensioners are in agony, economy of the nation is sick. NNPP will bring true governance to the people, putting smile on the face of the people.”

He called on the people of the state to ignore the fire brigade sympathy of Incumbent Administration, in promising to increaes annual payments of gratuity and timely payment of salaries, wondering why he hadn’t done so in over four years.

According to Ajadi, it was an indirect way of buying their vote for the coming election, without a commitment to actually y implementing it.

The leading opposition gubernatorial candidate said the people had become wiser and would  surely use their voting power to bring in true leader in the upcoming election.

He also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to be intimidated by the ruling party to manipulate the gubernatorial election.

Abeokuta South 1 House of Assembly Candidate of NNPP, Hon Badmos Oladayo Kilamuwaye also said on the programme that the people should use their elective power to vote for all NNPP candidates in the elections.

He said he would provide basic social needs of the people of Abeokuta South 1 when elected.
