I Hope To Play With De Bruyne At Liverpool – Van Dijk

Virgil van Dijk has said that Kevin de Bruyne of Manchester City is the player he would “love” to play with at Liverpool.

Despite the fact that the two players are rivals on the field, Van Dijk still sings De Bruyne’s accolades. He said without reservation that the midfielder for Manchester City is a complete player, and he would dearly want for the Belgian to join Liverpool and help them become more successful.

He said on Gary Neville’s show The Overlap, “Someone that I’ve never played with before but would love at Liverpool is Kevin De Bruyne. He’s unbelievable, and if he had played at Liverpool, we would’ve gone even further than what we have done. He’s outstanding, good on the ball, he presses high, scores plenty of goals, and has every attribute of a modern-day midfielder and footballer in general.

In their most recent encounters, Van Dijk triumphed over De Bruyne as Liverpool defeated City in the Community Shield and the Premier League at Anfield in October. When they face off at the Etihad Stadium on April 1, their rivalry will be reignited.

The midfielder will play on Saturday against Fulham, while the Netherlands’ captain will play a challenging away game against Tottenham on Sunday.
