How Two Siblings Celebrating Christmas Mysteriously Drowned In Lagos Beach

Two Siblings have reportedly lost their lives mysteriously while celebrating Christmas at Ibeshe Beach in Lagos.

A 26-year-old Femi Adegboyega and 23-year-old Ibukun Adegboyega drowned at 6:00, 25th December, while swimming at the beach.

Reports revealed that the deceased were swimming with their friends before the disaster and that they were siblings who resided in the FESTAC Town area of the state. An eyewitness, Seun, who claimed to have been together with them before the occurrence, recounted the incident and expressed his condolences to the deceased’s parents.

 He said, “We were swimming together on the beach. To be honest, I do not understand how it happened because we were together and all of a sudden they both drowned. I wonder how their parents will feel now because they are brothers and I also feel terrible because we could not help.”

Another eyewitness identified as Femi said all efforts by the friends and divers of the beach to rescue the siblings proved abortive.
