How Tinubu’s Loyalist, MC Oluomo Allegedly Stops Drivers From Moving Election Materials
Three Local Government Areas, Ojo, Apapa, and Mushin, experienced commotion yesterday as a result of Mr. Musiliu Akinsanya’s (also known as MC Oluomo) leadership of the Lagos State Park and Garage Management Committee’s threats to stop INEC-accredited vehicles from leaving the council offices with election materials.
Recall that a Memorandum of Understanding, MOU, on the logistics in the movement of electoral materials was signed by the INEC and the National Association of Road Transport Owners, NARTO, a few weeks ago.

Alhaji Kayode Odunowo, the chairman of NARTO’s Lagos State Chapter, confirmed the development by stating that he had received reports of harassment and threats against NARTO members from drivers in the three sites.
Odunowo added that members of the Park and Garage Committee continued to prevent vehicles from taking goods out of those sites even though there were police officers present.
He told Vanguard that the NARTO Executive members had been informed of the situation and that he was awaiting their orders before taking any further action.
In a similar vein, Comrade Ridwan Bello, Chairman of the Lagos State NARTO Task Force, told Vanguard that despite having complete control over Lagos Island, the boys from the committee that manages the state park and garage have prevented the movement of election materials, and that MC Oluomo’s boys are obstructing the logistics of the materials.
Bello also warned that the Lagos State election could be called off entirely if quick action was not done to summon Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) and his men to order.
Efforts to reach Jimoh Buhari, Spokesman for Oluomo was futile as calls and text messages to his phone were not answered neither were the message responded to.
