How Three-year-old Boy Abducted In Imo

A three-year-old boy, Chidalu Ike, was on Tuesday, October 15, abducted on his way from school in Atta community in Njaba council area of Imo State.

Head of vigilante services in Njaba council area, Chidi Nwamadu, confirmed the incident to our correspondent on phone.

According to him, the incident happened around 3pm immediately after the pupils were dismissed at Central School, Atta near the Afor Atta Market.

It was learnt that Chidalu, a native of Umuduru Egwedu Autonomous Community in Njaba LGa, was walking home with his elder brother, Nnaemeka, when two suspected kidnappers accosted them.

It was further learnt that the abductors sent Nnaemeka, 10, to buy them sachet water before making away with the little boy.

The boy’s father, Mr. Alexander Ike, appealed to the state government and security agencies to help bring back his son.
