How Gunmen Invade APC Meeting, Shot 2 Dead, 2 Others Injured

An unidentified gunmen have killed two persons believed to be members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ebonyi State.

According to reports, the event took place in the Mkpuma Akataka Community in the State’s Izzi Local Government Area.

THEEAGLE has reliable information that the APC meeting was taking place late on Friday in the neighborhood when the shooters rushed the location and started shooting.

The hoodlums, who were apparently two in number, arrived on a motorcycle and immediately took off after completing their task.

At the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital in Abakaliki, two people have been confirmed dead and two more are receiving medical attention.

As at the time of filing this report, Chris Anyanwu, the police public relations officer, has not responded to attempts to contact him.
