How Gunmen Attack Commuters On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
On Tuesday, motorists traveling on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway reportedly came under attack by gunmen wearing military uniforms.
Before the Sagamu Interchange, the suspected gunmen stormed the road from the bush and began firing sporadically at drivers of the 18-passenger interstate bus. They were traveling to Lagos.
The victim who wished to remain anonymous said, “We (passengers) were only lucky to escape the shooters but several of us have been injured by the gunfire and our bus has been seriously damaged also.”

I thought I was dead after being shot by them, the man who survived bullet wounds says in another video.
“They faced our vehicle shooting at us, we all lay down except the driver who was the target. They thought we were all dead and retreated into the bush.
“The joint patrol team of police officers from Ogun and Oyo states arrived at the scene later.
As of the time of filing this report, all attempts to contact DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the public relations officer for the Ogun State Police, for additional information failed. Both his calls and the text message sent to his phone went unanswered.
