How Couple Hired Assassins To Kill Negibour Over COVID-19 Palliatives
Story of how a couple in the Idimu area of Lagos hired assassins to kill their neigbour over COVID-19 palliatives has hit town.
The man identified as Rasaq Babalola is now cooling his heels at the Idimu police station while his wife Mama Raheem, is on the run.
The Eagle sources say residents of Agbo Komolafe Street, Unity Estate, Idimu area of Egbeda where the couple live, are still trying to come to grips with the incident.
This is because the man they sought to assassinate, Emeka Anozie actually meant well for the neighbourhood.

His sin was hiring a chef to cook for residents of the neighborhood as a way of alleviating them in the midst of challenges of the lockdown.
Husband and wife could not stomach that and allegedly paid assassins to eliminate Anozie.
The Eagle could not immediately ascertain whether there were subsisting disagreements between the two, may be rivalry of any kind, but further findings show that the couple had earlier, tried to stop him, but he ignored them and went ahead to share the food.
The couple’s agenda became a little clear to him, when Rasaq’s children began to carry out the bottled hatred of their parents by throwing stones at Anozie’s window, prompting the latter to report them to their mother.
However, rather than call her children to order, the woman reportedly flared up and threatened to deal with Anozie.
The following day, some armed men invaded his apartment, beat him up, collected his phones, and then dragged him outside in an attempt to take him away in their waiting car.
They could not however complete their plan, as neighbours rallied to the man’s help.
Based on his report at the police station, Rasaq was promptly arrested while his ran away.
It was then stories behind the story began to emerge.
