Arsenal Humbled Crystal

There is no better way to describe what Arsenal did to Crystal Palace this weekend than that Arsenal humbled Crystal Palace.

Five clear goals separated the two teams at the end of hostilities, and saw North London team move to the third position in the Premier League table.

It took only 11 minutes of the first half for Arsenal to demonstrate clear commitment to winning ways, after losing three previous matches.

That first goal at resumption would remain green in the minds of Trossard, coming on his first anniversary at the club.

It was the fruit of an impressive counter attack that caught the opposition napping.

Aside a similar feat against Wimbledon way back in 1998, the triumph over Crystal has entered the history books as Arsenal’s biggest win of a Premier League season.

For crystal coached by Roy Hodgson, there is much to rue anyway, given essentially that it had failed to win any of its six previous Premier League matches with Mikel Arteta.

As for players who made things happen – ensuring that Arsenal humbled Crystal Palace in the match that was held at the Emirates Stadium, mention must be made of Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli whose input remain outstanding

They played their roles in helping fans forget the horrors of  the four games without a win that forced Arsenal to the fourth positon on the table, and a nightmarish exit from the FA Cup.
