Here Is New Price List For Renewed Hope Housing Units

According to the government: The adoption of uniform selling prices aims to promote affordability, transparency, and fairness, ensuring that Nigerians across all regions have equal opportunities to benefit from the Renewed Hope Housing Programme

The Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has released a new price list for housing units within its Renewed Hope Estates nationwide.

This is part of the efforts of the Federal Government to make home ownership possible and convenient for Nigerians.

The price list is contained in a statement signed by the Ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Badamasi Haiba.

The statement shows that the housing units and prices attached to it are as follows:

One bedroom semi-detached bungalows: –            N8.5m

Two bedroom semi-detached bungalows: –            N11.5m

Three bedroom semi-detached bungalows:-          N12.5m

They are part of the Ministry’s efforts to make homeownership more accessible and equitable for Nigerians.

Those To Be Prioritized In Allocation Of The New Housing Units

According to the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa, priority in the allocation of the housing units would be given to the following:

  1. low- and middle-income earners,
  2. civil servants at all levels of government,
  3. employees in the organised private sector with verifiable sources of income, and
  4. Nigerians in the Diaspora who wish to own homes in the country.

Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Shuaib Belgore said  that several payment options have been provided to make the houses affordable and flexible.

The payment options are as follows:

  1. outright (full) payment,
  2. mortgage,
  3. rent-to-own scheme, and
  4. instalment payment plans.

“The Ministry further announced that the sale of the completed housing units across the northern and southern regions will soon commence.

“Applications can be made through the Renewed Hope Housing online portal at www.renewedhopehomes.fmhud.gov.ng or obtained from the Ministry’s headquarters and field offices nationwide.”
