Manager Jurgen Klopp has plenty of difficulties ahead of the encounter with the duo joining Trent Alexander-Arnold, Thiago Alcantara, Joel Matip, Ben Doak and Dominik Szoboszlai on the injured list. Alisson, the goalie, will also struggle to recover in time for the championship game after sitting out the victory over Brentford due to a hamstring injury. In the match against Brentford, Darwin Nunez was substituted as a precaution.

Jota has five goals and two assists in his last seven games for Liverpool in all competitions.

Liverpool have a Premier League fixture to play before Sunday’s final. The Reds host Luton Town at Anfield on Wednesday as they continue their title push. Chelsea, meanwhile, have a free week to prepare for the final.
