Gunmen Abduct Journalist’s Wife, 2 Daughters Just Arrived For Holiday

A journalist’s wife and his two daughters who just arrived town to spend the holidays have been abducted by gunmen.

They were among ten members of the same family abducted by the gunmen.

The journalist in question is Muhammed Bashir, a Kogi-based correspondent of the Nigeria Telegraph.

The incident happened on Thursday when the journalist’s wife and two daughters arrived in Kaduna for a holiday with the family of the journalist’s wife.

Disclosing the incident to colleagues in the Kogi Correspondents’ Chapel WhatsApp platform, Bashir stated:
“My dear colleagues, please I need your prayers.

“My two daughters and their mother, including eight others, were kidnapped yesterday by unknown gunmen in Kaduna where they went for a holiday.
“Pls pray for me,”

According to him, he had already contacted the police and the Department of State Services, and they had assured him of steps being taken to rescue the victims.
