Rev Chukwuka Chukwutem, who is in charge of the Omole branch of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Lagos has decried the present challenging economic situation in the country, saying that it was becoming difficult to bear.
Rev Chukwutem who was speaking at a church event with the theme: “Trusting The Almighty God In Trouble Time”, said it had become necessary for the concerned authorities to do something about the situation.
The man of God said the situation is such that people could no longer guarantee the three square meals per day, even as workers had not been paid salary for months.
According to him, it was difficult to guarantee peace and security when many people are hungry
Hew mentioned some worrisome security challenges in the country, to include Boko Haram insurgency, Fulani herdsmen attacks and the activities of armed robbers.
Pastor Chukwutem admonished Nigerians to hold unto God fervently, and that God would save Nigeria.
