Football: Temidayo Emerges Hat-Trick Hero With Injury

A friendly football match that was played between the National Diploma Two (ND2) students of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba and their ND1 counterparts recently, was quite intriguing, producing a hat-trick.
The game was played at the School field in Ogba on December 3.
Temidayo,who played the full match with injury, was outstanding as he scored three important goals that made his team prevail in the match which ended 7-1 at full time.
Temidayo told our reporter at the end of the game: ” I couldn’t believe I could score three goals in that match because I was having an injury on my right leg.
The injury almost made me give up despite the fact that I already knew we were going to win the game. But I didn’t give up,” Temidayo concluded.
Temidayo won the admiration of many supporters in the game which attracted a modest crowd of supporters.
Interclass matches is a regularity at the NIJ as a tune-up for various competitions at which the different teams participate,
