Fight Over Alleged Infidelity Claims Housewife’s Life

Altercations over alleged infidelity has snowballed into a fight between a man and his life, eventually resulting in the death of the latter.

55-year-old Bartany Chela from the Kolowa area got a stab from her husband, following following allegations she was involved in infidelity.

When policemen from Kenya’s Baringo County got to the scene at Kolowa , they found Chela under a grass-thatched store with her private parts severely mutilated.

The man’s attempt to flee was thwarted by police who had promptly reacted to the crime.

Policemen from Kenya’s Baringo County are now are investigating the circumstances that led to the fatal stabbing of the 55-year-old woman from the Kolowa area, identified as Bartany Chela.

They found her dead under a grass-thatched store with her private parts severely mutilated on Friday afternoon after an altercation with her husband over alleged infidelity.

Police said the suspect, believed to be the husband, was arrested while attempting to flee the area, and that he would be arraigned once investigations are complete.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending a postmortem examination.
