Following Mauricio Pochettino’s announcement that he was leaving Chelsea, John Terry strongly disagreed, advising the club to postpone adding any more players.

The legendary former Chelsea defender is currently back at the club as an academy coach. He took to Instagram to express his opinion following the shock announcement Pochettino has left the club by mutual consent.

The ex-England star posted on an Instagram story that he was “gutted” to see the Argentine go, along with his son, Sebastiano, and assistant Jesus Perez. Terry added in a what appeared to be a warning to Todd Boehly and the Chelsea ownership regime: “I just hope we don’t sign or sell any players until we get a manager in.”

The Chelsea team apparently had a “meltdown” in the team WhatsApp group when Pochettino’s departure was announced. Following the revelation, Blues players Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer both expressed gratitude to the boss on social media.
