“I’ve always invested in education, teaching and knowledge gathering. This informed my setting up an event academy where everyone can come together and learn. I then decided to take it a notch higher with a conference”, she stated.

“Recall, COVID-19 happened to everyone in 2020;such that some businesses recovered while some others didn’t. I felt organizing such an event with the theme ‘Reset’ will help participants acquire the right knowledge that’ll transform their mindsets positively. For me, reset is moving backwards, turning around and moving forward”, she reiterated.

“I have realized that through international events like TEXA, you get to build relationships, networking, collaboration and exchanging ideas because someone could get interested in what you are doing and thereafter collaborate with you because they have seen the bigger picture.

This is how we’ve been able to achieve bringing people together for the event. Interestingly, quite a number of Africa event professionals got inspiration from TEXA to also host similar conferences in their own countries.”
