The draw for the Europa League quarter-finals will take place on Friday, March 15, 2024, and will be held at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.

The draw is expected to start at 12 p.m. GMT in the UK following the Champions League draw. The draw will take place at 8 a.m. ET for American viewers.

Draws for the Europa League semifinals and final will take place in a manner akin to the analogous draw for the Champions League; hence, the path to the championship game will be determined on Friday.

Which teams are in the draw?

Eight teams will be in the hat for the Europa League quarter-final draw. They will be confirmed following the conclusion of the last 16 games on Thursday, March 14. The teams in question are:

  • Sparta Prague or Liverpool
  • Marseille or Villarreal
  • Roma or Brighton
  • Benfica or Rangers
  • Freiburg or West Ham
  • Sporting or Atalanta
  • AC Milan or Slavia Prague
  • Qarabag or Bayer Leverkusen

The favourites to win the Europa League this season are Premier League side Liverpool, who will undoubtedly want to send Jurgen Klopp out on top with as many trophies as possible.

Strong European teams like AC Milan, Roma, and Benfica, however, will also want a voice.
