Chelsea had some half chances but they couldn’t convert and they ended the first half without a shot in target.

The Gunners started the second half with purpose and intent. Ben White increased their
lead in the 52nd minute to make it 2-0.

Seven minutes later, it was 3-0 thanks to a spectacular finish from former Chelsea player Kai Havertz.

After some excellent effort by Bukayo Saka, he scored his second goal of the game to startle his former employers with a low shot in the box.

In his previous ten Premier League outings, Havertz has now netted seven goals and provided four assists.

A shell-shocked Chelsea team devoid of creativity saw Ben White complete his brace in the 70th minute thanks to Martin Odegaard’s assist, making it 5-0.

Pochettino’s team suffered a humbling defeat as the Gunners secured their title with what was maybe their finest performance of the season against their London rivals.

Arsenal are now three points clear of second-placed Liverpool, who have a game in hand, while Manchester City are in the third position with two outstanding games.

Liverpool will make a short trip to Everton on Wednesday night while Manchester City will be back in action against Brighton on Thursday at the Amex Stadium.

When Mikel Arteta’s team visits Tottenham on Sunday, they’ll be hoping to carry on their winning streak.
