Electricity Supply Jeopardised As National Grid Collapses Again
Electricity supply in Nigerians was jeorpadised Wednesday, following the collapse of the national grid
There has been no less than 10 such collapses of the grid since the beginning of the year, resulting in huge losses on production and service lines.
The epileptic supply in the country is fingered as major reason for its poor industrial outputs, given that literally all such activities are electricity-drive
According to the Transmission Company of Nigeria, electricity generation plunged from 3,087 megawatt before the grid collapse, to zero in the afternoon.

The unfortunate incident was broken via tweet through the official handle of Nigeria’s National Grid at about 2.9pm.
“The major grid setback has occurred and the restoration is to commence,” the handler wrote.
It would be remembered that in October alone, the grid collapsed three times.
