Applicants interested in the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) still have up to February 27 to apply, the fund has stated.
Applications were supposed to close on January 31 but was extended to February 27, a statement by the Fund’s Director, Strategic Communications, Oseyemi Oluwatuyi stated.
The extension is to give prospective applicants additional time to complete and submit their applications, Oluwatuyi said
Lending a voice, Managing Director of loan fund, Mr Akintunde Sawyerr stated:
“We understand that some applicants may require additional time to complete their submissions, and this decision ensures that every eligible Nigerian student has a fair opportunity to benefit from the Fund,” he said.

He advised applicants to ensure that they included all required information in their applications and sending these or before February 27.
They could also obtain further information and updates about the loan fund, he said, from NELFUND’s official communication channels via email at info@nelf.gov.ng.
