Dollar To Naira Rate Today, 18th October, 2022

The Dollar to Naira exchange rate today, 18th October at the black market segment is trading at a minimum of N745. This is in contrast to N740 currency traders in Lagos exchanged yesterday, indicating a rise in N5 for the greenback.
Similarly, trade at the peer-to-peer cryptocurrency segment surged by N6 to trade at N746.62 this morning as against N740 The Eagle Observed this time yesterday.
However, the local currency strengthened against the American Dollar by 13 Kobo or 0.03 per cent in the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window to settle at N441.25/$1 compared with the preceding session’s rate of N441.38/$1.
On Monday, the Nigerian Naira gained steam in the FX market segment as the turnover significantly dropped from $69.18 million to $46.21 million, a decrease of 23.2% or $22.97 million.
In the Apex bank (CBN) trading segment, the Naira further commenced the week’s trade at N436.85, maintaining a flat rate from the previous Friday session which concluded at N436.06.

The price of Bitcoin (BTC) increased by 1.7% to $19,579.44, Ripple (XRP) increased by 1.6% to trade at $0.4671, Dogecoin (DOGE) increased by 1.5% to sell for $0.0599, Binance Coin (BNB) increased by 1% to $274.49, Litecoin (LTC) increased by 0.9% to $51.87, and Cardano (ADA) added 0.8% to trade at $0.3709. Solana (SOL) increased by 2.5% to close at $31.02 while Ethereum (ETH) increased by 2.1% to trade at $1,334.84.
