Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate, Today 30th August 2022

In the peer-to-peer currency segment, Dollar to Naira exchange rate today 30th August 2022 is traded at N703/$1.

This local currency further dipped against its counterpart at 1N when compared to the same value the currencies were traded at yesterday morning.

However, the Naira stagnated against its American counterpart in the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, closing at N430.33/$1, despite a $28.25 million or 34.29 percent decline in the value of FX transactions during the day.

Meanwhile, in the unregulated market which is also the black market, currency traders in Lagos disclosed Dollar to Naira is exchanged at N700/$1 –  indicating a flat rate when compared to the value it traded as of this time yesterday.

In the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange segment, the local currency depreciated by 0.09 in value to be exchanged for N423.38/$1 as against N422.7/$1 it commenced the week with.

When we look at the whole month, we see that USD to Naira exchange rate was ₦416.9 on Monday, August 01, 2022 at the beginning of August. As of today with USD seen at ₦423.38, we see a 1.55% rise for USD to Naira exchange rates in CBN for this August.
