Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate, Today 26th September, 2022

Dollar to Naira exchange rate today, 26th of September, 2022 commences the week at N730/$1 at the peer-to-peer (P2P) currency segment. Going by N726/$1 it traded on Friday, the naira fell by N4.

Meanwhile, in the NAFEX market, the local currency strengthened against its counterpart by 0.04 percent, to settle at N436.33/$1 on Friday, down from N436.50/$1 on Thursday.

Data from the FMDQ Securities Exchange indicated that the turnover for the session increased slightly by $4.37 million or 4.3 per cent to $106.11 million from $101.74 million.

In the interbank segment, the value of the Naira to the Pound Sterling remained unchanged at N487.99/£1 and against the Euro, the local currency also traded flat at N425.66/€1.

In the black market segment, sources from currency traders in Lagos have slated the currency exchange at N721/$1 compared to N716/$1 it traded on Friday, revealing an increase of N5.

Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) foreign exchange section reveals the local currency slumped by 0.09 per cent to settle at N431.09/$1 compared to N430.71/$1 it closed trade on Thursday.

In the crypto world, the Bitcoin (BTC) while retaining it’s 19k benchmark and IOTA recorded a progressive movement in the past 24 hours of trade, while others slumped.

Bitcoin (BTC) jumped to $19,281.42 a change of 1.04%,  Ethereum (ETH) slumped by 0.70% to sell at $1,321.37, Litecoin (LTC) slumped by 1.02% to settle at  $53.58, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) fell by 0.76% to trade at  $116.7.

IOTA jumped by 8.18% to sell at $0.3043, while XRP fell by 1.49% to settle at $0.4809, ADA fell by 2.04% to settle at  $0.4502, and DSH fell by 1.51% to sell at $41.68.
