Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate Today, 24th October
The dollar to Naira exchange rate at the black market segment today, 24th October 2022 has surged by N2 to trade at N755. Compared to N753 currency traders sold last week Friday, information obtained by The Eagle reveals these traders are not selling below N755 in Lagos and Ibadan.
Similarly, the local currency decreased in value at the cryptocurrency peer-to-peer FX market on Monday morning, dropping by N5 from the N748/$1 transacted at the same time on Friday, October 21, 2022, to a minimum of N7753/$1.
In the Investors and Exporters (I & E) window, the same story applies: the Naira fell against the greenback by 0.12 per cent to settle at N441.67 on Friday, against N441.13$ it closed on Thursday, 20th October.

The currency exchange rate at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) settled at N437.5 on Friday compared to N437.28/$1, indicating a slump of 0.05 per cent for the local currency.
Update in the cryptocurrency market:
Bitcoin (BTC) appreciated by 0.80% to settle at $19,329.5, Ethereum (ETH) appreciated by 2.00% to settle at $1,336.31, Litecoin (LTC) jumped by 1.67% to trade at $53 0.87, IOTA also appreciated by 0.78% to conclude at $0.2461, and Cardano (ADA) appreciated by 2.65% to settle at $0.3603.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) slumped by 0.55% to close at $108.5, Ripple (XRP) fell by 1.02%to conclude at $0.4549, and DSH fell by 1.16% to trade at $40.19.
