Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate July 19, 2022

According to the official Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) trading forex segment, Dollar to Naira exchange rate is set at N415.9/$1, today July 19, 2022.
This is the exact figure it concluded the previous session and the week before on the CBN trading platform, depicting the Naira to the American currency has remained flat.
However, at the official Investors and Exporters Window (I & E), the Nigerian currency was exchanged at N429.12/$1. This is against the previous trading session which concluded at N430.33/$1, meaning the local currency improved against its counterpart at 0.28 per cent.
Meanwhile, those who needed dollars had to pay between N600 – N618 on the parallel market (black market) as merchants looked to profit quickly by exploiting the system’s paucity of foreign currency.

A look into the crypto world has shown a significant rise for some of the top currencies while others have recorded further declines in the past 24 hours.
Ethereum (ETH) appreciated by 3.34 per cent to sell at $1,534.37 for a coin in the past 24 hours. Bitcoin (BTC) fell by 1.47 per cent to sell at $21,917.80 a coin, while Binance (BNB) also depreciated at 0.13 per cent to be exchanged at the rate of $260.25 a coin.
