Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate, July 15, 2022

According to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the official US Dollar to Naira Exchange rate for July 15, 2022, is N415.9.

Naira commenced the week at N415.83 to $1 on Wednesday, July 13 after taking a short break for the Eid-el Kabir celebration on Monday and Tuesday. Thus, US Dollar recorded a 0.02 per cent gain against the Naira.

Meanwhile, at the official Investors and Exporters (I&E) window of the foreign exchange trading segment, Naira was traded at N424.0/$1 on the 14th of July.

This is as against Wednesday’s trading session which was exchanged at  N424.58/$1. The Naira recorded a gain of 0.01 per cent against the American Dollar.

In the black market segment, Dollar is sold at the rate of N590 – N613/$1. Majorly, this can be attributed to the surge in demand during the Sallah celebration, coupled with the hike in crude oil prices that have been ongoing.

In the digital currency world, Bitcoin and its counterpart have all recorded tremendous gains in the past 24 hours.

Bitcoin currently goes for $20,896.11 or N8,678,781.37 to a coin – recording an increase of 6.70%. This is against the previous day’s segment which was exchanged at $20,105.58, to a coin.

Ethereum (ETH) trades at $1,218.31 or N506,000.69 to a coin, indicating a change of 13.37% in the past 24 hours.
Also, the Binance (BNB) currently sells at $238.39 or N99,010.52 to a coin, indicating a change of 4.40% in the past day.
