Having verbally agreed to join Fluminense on a free transfer, the Brazilian had been anticipated to return home. According to TNT Sports Brasil, Thiago Silva may now need to make a choice after receiving offers from three London teams.

Thiago Silva and his family may find it alluring to stay in London, especially because the defender has stated that Chelsea “means a lot” to him and that he plans to return in the future. Regardless of where Thiago Silva travels for the summer, the player’s wife and kids will also remain in the city. After growing close to Chelsea over his four years at Stamford Bridge, it is unclear whether Thiago Silva would feel comfortable playing for another Premier League team.

Thiago Silva has played 151 times and won three trophies in his four years at Chelsea, including the 2020-21 Champions League.
