Chelsea Slap Hefty Price Tag On Broja Amid January Transfer Rumours 

Chelsea have reportedly slapped a hefty price tag on Armando Broja amid interest from Wolves, West Ham and Fulham.

The Blues are reportedly seeking more than £50 million ($63 million/€58 million) for their striker, though they are still accepting offers this month, according to The Telegraph. The club is determined to keep Broja in the team and has drawn interest from West Ham United, Fulham, and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to report, Chelsea arrived at their valuation by using Rasmus Hoijlund’s £72 million summer transfer fee from Manchester United as a guide. When determining their demands, they also used Brighton’s £100 million (€116 million/$126 million) assessment of Evan Ferguson. Although it was first thought that Chelsea would only permit Broja to depart in exchange for the signing of a new forward, the team might change its mind if a buyer is prepared to pay the asking amount.

In his 13 Premier League games for Chelsea this season, Broja has only managed one goal. The only other goal he has scored this season came in the FA Cup against Fulham.

Broja, who has two goals this season for Chelsea, agreed to a six-year deal in September 2022, providing the team flexibility and removing any immediate obligation to sell him for less than his market value. The Blues are anticipated to look for an offensive replacement if Broja does decide to depart Stamford Bridge. However, Pochettino will have more alternatives now that Nicolas Jackson from the Africa Cup of Nations and Christopher Nkunku are back from injury.
