Chelsea New Signing Enzo Fernandez’s Jersey Number ‘Leaked’ Ahead Of Unveiling

The squad number of Chelsea new signing, Enzo Fernandez has been leaked, with the Argentine following in the footsteps of a recently departed midfielder.

The 21-year-old, who has signed a British record deal to join the Blues from Benfica, will wear the No. 5 jersey, which Jorginho wore this season before switching to London rivals Arsenal in a similarly last-minute deadline day deal.

Fernandez will have to live up to the same standards as club legends Michael Essien, Frank Leboeuf, and Steve Clarke, who also wore the illustrious No. 5 during their Chelsea careers. Fernandez will not only have some immediate big shoes to fill after succeeding Jorginho.
