Chelsea Hit By Jackson Injury Scare Ahead Of Fulham Clash

Nicolas Jackson may have handed Chelsea another injury headache, with the striker spotted wearing a splint on his wrist.

The Senegal international handed the struggling Blues a much-needed boost on Wednesday by scoring the game’s lone goal in their 1-0 triumph over Brighton in the Carabao Cup third round. He has only made two attempts this season.

Armando Broja replaced Jackson late in the game against the Seagulls, although questions about the 22-year-old’s fitness were later raised. He was seen wearing a cast to protect his right arm, which is why.

Jackson is set to continue occupying a central striking slot, therefore Chelsea supporters will be hopeful that the splint was merely a preventative measure.
