The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Senatorial candidate for Oyo Central Senatorial District, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has called on Nigerian couples to build their marriages on love and Godliness.
He said they should also accommodate mutual respect for each other, fear of God, as well as patience, describing the family as the foundation of every peaceful and prosperous society.
Ambassador Ajadi made the admonision while speaking with journalists after attending the wedding ceremony of Janet and Gabriel, held at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Oke Irorun Zonal Headquarters, Isale Oja Jango, Ogbomoso, with the reception following at Olagbami Osekun Hall, Arowomole, Ogbomoso South Local Government Area.
The philanthropist and politician attended the ceremony alongside the Special Assistant to the Oyo State Governor on Solid Minerals, Hon. Saheed Adeyemi Arowosaye, popularly known as AROSAD, and other prominent political office holders, traditional rulers and community leaders.

He added: “Marriage is one of God’s greatest institutions. It is not merely about bringing two people together; it is about building a partnership that will positively influence society.
“I congratulate Janet and Gabriel and pray that God grants them wisdom, understanding, good health and lasting happiness.”
He advised young couples to cultivate patience and understanding rather than allowing temporary challenges to destroy their homes.
According to him, “Every successful marriage is built on sacrifice, communication, trust and forgiveness. There will always be challenges, but couples who put God first and remain committed to each other will overcome every obstacle.
“We need stronger families because strong families produce responsible citizens and a better nation.”
Ajadi further noted that marriages play a significant role in promoting peace, social stability and national development.
“The strength of every community begins with the strength of its homes. When families are united, communities become peaceful, businesses flourish and our nation becomes stronger. We must continue to celebrate and support institutions that promote family values.”
He also commended the parents, relatives and friends of the couple for their support, urging Nigerians to continue preserving cultural and religious values that encourage unity and peaceful coexistence.
Also present at the colourful ceremony was Hon. Saheed Adeyemi Arowosaye (AROSAD), who congratulated the newlyweds and wished them a lifetime of joy, prosperity and divine guidance.
