British School In Abuja Shut Down Over Student Bullying

A British school in Abuja, Lead British International School has been shut down over student bullying.
This followed a video on the bullying incident as shared on shared virally.
The school will remain closed for three days, while authorities get to the root of the matter.
The news of the student bullying was broken during a press briefing attended at the school premises.
A female student of the school was sighted on the circulating video repeatedly slapped by another female student.
It was not totally clear what others transpired, but the scene suggested corporal punishment in session.
The victim was equally vocally abused by her aggressors.
The disturbing footage depicted the victim being repeatedly slapped by another female student in what appeared to be an interrogation session.

Head of Lead British International School, Abraham Ogunkambi, in a statement stated the school’s disapproval of the conduct of the students in question, adding: “The school management is treating this matter with the utmost seriousness”.
