Breaking – Who’s After The Life Of This Deputy Governor’s Wife?
Breaking – Who’s After The Life Of Edo Deputy Governor’s Wife, Mrs Mary Philip- Shaibu? That is the million dollar question even as the political temperature in the state continues to shoot to the skies.
Mrs Philip- Shaibu just petitioned the Police Command in the stats well as the Directorate of State Services (DSS) saying her life was under threat.
A statement by Mr Benjamin Atu, Senior Special Assistant (SSA), on media to the Edo Deputy Governor credits the petitioner as alleging that a former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has allegedly perfected plans to harm her.
He said a petition to the effect had already been written by Idemudia Ilueminosen, Esq, Solicitors to the petitioner Philip-Shaibu, titled “THREAT TO LIFE”.
The petition addressed to the Commissioner of Police, Nigerian Police Force, Edo Command, and the DSS, says a former national chairman of the APC, allegedly issued the threat during a campaign tour of the party to Jattu community, in Etsako West Local Government Area of the state last Sunday.
It allegedly warned the deputy governor’s wife to steer clear of campaigning for her party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), under which platform her husband, Mr Philip Shaibu was contesting as a Deputy Governorship Candidate, alongside the standard bearer, Gov. Godwin Obaseki.
The petition, Philip-Shaibu was therefore passionately appealing to the Edo Commissioner for Police, to use his good office “to investigate the incident with a view to bringing the said former national chairman and his cohorts to book to avert any unpleasant and unforeseen harm.
