BREAKING: Van Der Sar Rushed To Hospital With Cerebral Hemorrhage

Edwin van der Sar, a former star for Manchester United and Ajax, has experienced a brain bleed and was taken urgently to the hospital.
According to De Telegraaf, the renowned goalie needed to be airlifted to the hospital after suffering a stroke while on vacation at a Croatian island.

On Friday afternoon, Van der Sar was put into intensive care.
“On Friday, Edwin van der Sar had a bleeding around his brain,” said an Ajax statement on Twitter in support of their former CEO.
“He’s currently in hospital in the intensive care unit and is in a stable condition. Once there is more concrete information, an update will follow.
“Everyone at Ajax wishes Edwin a speedy recovery. We’re thinking of you.”

The 52-year-old left his position as CEO of the Dutch juggernauts more than a month ago. He has won Champions League trophies with Ajax and United. In 2012, he rejoin his former team as marketing director. Four years later, he was elevated to chief executive.
