The Kogi State House of Assembly complex was on Monday morning gutted by fire.
Prince Mathew Kolawole, the Speaker of the House, announced in a press conference at the assembly building that the house will permit security services to look into the event.
However, he asserted that as long as the house’s resolution regarding Dangote Cement Plc is in effect, this would not prevent the assembly from carrying out its mandate.

The Speaker of the Assembly said that he suspects sabotage but fell short of where the suspected sabotage might be from.
