Barcelona Keen On Re-Signing La Masia Star

Barcelona are closing in on a surprising deal to sign former La Masia player Oriol Romeu from Girona.

According to Sport, Barcelona are getting near to finalising a startling agreement to sign Romeu from Girona.

The reigning Spanish champions are in advanced talks with Romeu to sign his services because they see him as a possible Sergio Busquets replacement.

The former Southampton midfielder will join Ilkay Gundogan, Vitor Roque, and Inigo Martinez as Barcelona’s fourth summer additions. The Blaugrana are eager to expand their roster so that coach Xavi can compete on all fronts.

As part of their upcoming preseason schedule, the Catalan club will play Juventus, Arsenal, and Real Madrid.
