Barca’s Felix Injury Update After Limping Off Against Shakhtar Donetsk Ahead Of El-Classico Clash

FC Barcelona loanee Joao Felix has allayed fears he will miss El Clasico after limping off against Shakhtar Donetsk.
In the 75th minute of Barca’s 2-1 Champions League victory over Shakhtar on Wednesday, the 23-year-old was substituted out. Social media users were worried that he wouldn’t make it to Saturday’s La Liga match against Real Madrid, but the Portugal international has played off any worries.

He said in an Instagram story: “I am fine. It was just a bump. Recover and prepare for the next game.”
Felix began the season as a season-long loanee from Atletico Madrid and has since scored three goals and provided four assists across all competitions. The Catalan team, now one point and two spots behind their fierce rivals in the league, will benefit greatly if he can play against Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. Felix might be able to play, while teammate Frenkie de Jong is out with an ankle injury.
Barça plays Real Sociedad in La Liga on November 4, following the Madrid match.
