Atletico Boss Simeone Hopes ‘Extra Ordinary’ Joao Felix Can Impress At Chelsea

Joao Felix has been praised as an amazing talent by Atletico boss, Diego Simeone, who wishes the Portuguese player luck while on loan at Chelsea.

The Atletico superstar did not have the best debut for Chelsea as he was dismissed an hour into the match against Fulham.

He left Atletico Madrid earlier in January to join Chelsea on loan.

Joao Felix’s terrible debut hasn’t stopped his former manager Diego Simeone from wishing him well and praising his “amazing abilities” as a player.

The Atletico boss revealed to reporters, “I will not go into details (about Joao Felix’s performances) with such a long explanation. I just wish him the best, a boy with some extraordinary football ability. He is young and obviously eager to do his best and showcase all the football that he has in him. So hopefully he will succeed, wherever he is.”

With 25 points from 18 games, the Blues sit 10th in the Premier League after losing Felix’s debut 2-1 to Fulham.
