Arsenal Winger Marquinhos Set To Join Norwich On Loan

Marquinhos, an Arsenal winger, will spend the rest of the season on loan at Norwich of the Championship.

The 19-year-old is scheduled to undergo a medical before committing to Carrow Road, and negotiations on a transfer are now at an advanced level.

Until the end of the season, the arrangement will be a straightforward loan. There is no provision for David Wagner’s Norwich to make the change permanent in the coming summer.

In an effort to give the young Brazilian attacker more playing experience between now and the conclusion of the season, Arsenal has long been predicted to approve a loan move for him this month.

Marquinhos, who moved to north London from Sao Paulo last summer, has made just six appearances in all competitions and one goal this season.

On Saturday, Mikel Arteta’s team plays in the Premier League at Everton.
