Application Requirements For Fresh ECOWAS Residency Card

For you to be issued a fresh ECOWAS Residency Card, there is a process that you must go through and some requirements to provide.

As the name implies, note that the ECOWAS Residency Card is an important document for citizens of the economic block known as the Economic Community of West African States.

The card enables you to live and do business in any of the member countries.
But then, to become a holder of the ECOWAS Residency Card, there is a process that you have to follow it is presented here below:

Individual applicants must provide the following.
i. Valid ECOWAS Travel Certificate or International Passport
2. Photocopy of Bio-data and Information page of Passport
3. 2 copies of applicant’s recent passport photograph
4. Evidence of e-Payment i.e Printed Payment Confirmation Page
5. Duly completed and signed Application Form
6. Letter of Employment
7. Letter of Acceptance of employment
8. Letter from Employer accepting immigration responsibilities
9. Applicant’s Credentials/ CV where applicable.
10. Copy of ECOWAS Registration Certificate from LGA of Applicant’s domicile.

For Business Owners
A business owners who need the ECOWAS Residence Card, must provide the following:
1. Valid ECOWAS Travel Certificate or International Passport
2. Photocopy of Bio-data and Information page of Passport
3. 2 copies of applicant’s recent passport photograph
4. Evidence of e-Payment i.e printed payment confirmation page
5. Duly completed and signed Application Form
6. Letter from Employer accepting immegration responsibilities
7. Applicant’s Credentials/ CV where applicable.
8. Evidence of Lease/ Ownership of business permises
9. Certificate of Incorporation of business name with Corporate Affairs Commission.
10. Copy of COT form.
11. Tax Clearance Certificate.
