APC, Tinubu Wants To Use, Dump Jonathan – Activist

Deji Adeyanju, an activist and Convener of Concerned Nigerians, claimed that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and All Progressives Congress intended to use and dump former President Goodluck Jonathan.

This comes after Tuesday night’s visit from APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu to Jonathan in Abuja.

The former president was reminded of the role the APC cabals played during its presidential primary by Adeyanju, who claimed to have previously forewarned him.

THEEAGLE had earlier reported that a team of five APC governors was led by Tinubu, who was accompanied by his running mate, Senator Kashim Shetimma. They were Bello Matawale, the governor of Zamfara State, Simon Lalong, the director-general of his presidential campaign council, Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun State, Jigawa State’s Abubakar Badaru, and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the governor of Kwara State.

A source in Tinubu’s camp told THEEAGLE that the visit was an extension of the APC national leader’s engagement with key political stakeholders ahead of the 2023 presidential election, even if the meeting’s specifics were not made public.

“No one should be shocked by his visit to Jonathan. According to the source, Tinubu has no animosity toward any political figure, whether they are in his own party or the opposition.

Reacting via a Facebook post, Adeyanju said, “Dear Goodluck Jonathan, you won’t die if you don’t support anyone in this election. During the APC primaries when the cabal were deceiving you, hope you remember all my warnings to you that they just wanted to use and dump you. A word is enough for the wise.”
