APC Remains The Only Option For Nigerians – Gov Bagudu
The Governor of Kebbi, Abubakar Bagudu, on Friday said that the All Progressive Congress (APC) continues to be Nigerians’ only choice.
This was said in a statement made in Abuja by Mr. Yahaya Sarki, the special adviser on media for Badugu.
In Yauri, Kebbi South, the governor made the statement at the start of the zonal campaign rally.
He claimed that his conviction was based on the fair manner in which the party’s candidates were selected after open and transparent procedures.
Badugu, who is also APC Governors’ Forum Chairman, said this is particularly based on the manner APC’s presidential candidate and his running mate, as well as the state governorship candidate and his running mate emerged.

In contrast to some of the selfish and disloyal former party members who quit, pushed themselves as candidates, and intimidated their perceived inferior party members, he claimed that the APC and its leaders were always just and open-minded.
Bagudu claimed that both the Kebbi State Government and the APC-led Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari have done admirably over the last seven years.
He claimed that the variety of infrastructure development dotting the whole landscape of the zone and the state in general served as clear evidence of this.
The governor urged residents of the state to support APC candidates at all levels of government in order to maintain continuity.
Bagudu gave the state’s citizens the assurance that, if elected, APC candidates Dr. Nasir Idris and Sen. Umar Abubakar will continue the legacy of the party in power.
He acknowledged the state’s residents’ steadfast support for the federal government and his administration and urged them to continue doing so.
