Andre Onana’s Shirt Number At Man Utd Reveal

It is official that Andre Onana won’t be wearing shirt No.1 Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Onana, who joined United on Thursday for £48 million ($62 million), has been given the No. 24 jersey at Old Trafford, according to United.

The international from Cameroon previously wore the number for Inter and Ajax, but he has decided against assuming David de Gea’s No. 1 following his departure.

Onana, who previously played for Erik ten Hag in the Netherlands, will try to regain the form at Ajax that earned him a transfer to Inter.

Andre will link up with United for their pre-season tour of the USA. They play Arsenal on Saturday.
