Ambassador Ajadi Receives Divine Treasurer Award at RCCG 8th Anniversary Celebration

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pinnacle of Glory Parish, Area 022, Lagos Province 35 (Apapa Family), marked its 8th anniversary themed “Rehoboth” with a series of spiritually enriching events from Friday, May 17, to Sunday, May 19, 2024. The celebratory events were held at 4 Church Close, Off Toyin Street, Oremeji, Ibafo, Ogun State.

The anniversary commenced on Friday with powerful ministrations by Pastor Paul Okwudiba and Pastor Balogun Marshall, who both delivered sermons on the topic “Silent My Enemy Oh Lord”. This message set a tone of spiritual warfare and victory for the weekend.

The event witnessed the presentation of an award of prestigious divine treasurer honoured  to Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo.

Saturday’s sessions featured two compelling topics: “Honours of Ambushment” and “Possessing My Rehoboth,” aimed at equipping attendees with divine strategies for overcoming obstacles and claiming their God-ordained spaces of abundance and peace.

The celebrations culminated on Sunday with a service centered on the theme “Will Be Fruitful in The Land”. The service was graced by notable dignitaries, including the Southwest Chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo. In his address, Ambassador Ajadi expressed deep gratitude for the invitation and highlighted the significance of divine connection in leadership and personal growth.

“It is a profound honor to be in the presence of such devoted men and women of God,” Ambassador Ajadi stated during his interview with our correspondent. “Responding to invitations from the church is a unique way of seeking the blessings and mercies of God in all our endeavors. I am committed to honoring more such invitations because our prosperity and the success of our lives are ultimately in the hands of God.”

In a special highlight of the anniversary, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo was honored with the prestigious Divine Treasurer Award 2024. This award, presented by the Pastorate and the entire membership of RCCG Pinnacle of Glory Parish and Area 022 of Lagos Province 35, recognized his selfless and invaluable contributions to the development of the work of God. The award citation commended Ambassador Ajadi’s exceptional role in the church’s Christian Social Responsibility initiatives, including his significant contributions towards the construction of the church auditorium—from purchasing the land to the completion of the building. His philanthropic efforts toward supporting the youth, the aged, and widows were also highlighted and deeply appreciated.

Pastor Godswill Matthew Inyang, the pastor in charge of the Pinnacle of Glory Parish, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the support and participation of the congregation and guests. He emphasized the importance of the church’s mission in fostering spiritual growth and community development.

The General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, also sent his blessings and congratulatory message to the parish, encouraging them to continue in their steadfast faith and service to God.

The anniversary celebration was marked by vibrant worship, heartfelt prayers, and communal fellowship, reflecting the church’s dedication to spiritual growth and community unity.
